PATRONS COUNCIL

Composition

The Patrons Council consists of prominent citizens, social luminaries, policy influencers and people of national significance. The function of this council is to look at the interest of society at large and guide the members of CRDI towards social responsibilities associated with the conduct of business among MSMEs without violation of their social obligations including environmental protection and community development. The members of this council would be selected on the basis of their ability to reach out and influence various segments of society to cooperate and support the members of CRDI in their participation in engagements for the development of communities which are in their geographical domain.

Charter of Responsibilities

  • The Patrons Council would connect active social entrepreneurs, industrialists and community leaders with the members of CRDI in their respective regions in order to promote overall development of the community in which the members operate.
  • The Patrons Council would identify the requirements of the communities around the MSME Clusters and coordinate with the members of CRDI for skill development, community welfare, employment coordination, social development, civic infrastructure and career guidance for students.
  • The Patrons Council would support various initiatives announced by the Government by identifying appropriate community partners and assigning responsibilities for cooperation between the members of CRDI and external agencies for the implementation of such initiatives where necessary.
