COUNCIL FOR REDRESSAL AND
DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRIES IN INDIA.

Council for Redressal and Development of Industries in India (CRDI) has been registered on 29th December 2020 and formed pursuant to subsection-2 of Section-7 and subsection-1 of Section-8 of the Companies Act 2013 (18 of 2013) and under rule 18 of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules 2014.

The focus of CRDI is to identify the challenges faced by the MSMEs across India in order to facilitate and address their legitimate grievances and to serve as a bridge between the Government of India and the various MSME Clusters.

VISION

To empower the MSME sector towards revival and industrial development by accelerating their growth to become significant contributors towards India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

MISSION

To establish a distributed support platform for MSME clusters across the country for providing guidance towards business development, technology sourcing, market development, financial revival, government support and cooperative engagements with the objective of fostering significant growth on a sustainable model.

Objectives

To work for the revival of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). which are operating as clusters and are under stress and guide them towards revival programs initiated by the Government of India.

To facilitate MSME clusters to identify and collaborate with financial and strategic partners from various geographies to enable them to expand and grow to their full potential.

To foster innovation and collaborative research and support MSME clusters with relevant knowledge to fulfil their technical needs to meet the evolving market requirements.

To provide strategic guidance to help existing MSME clusters to cooperate with other clusters in the same sector of activity to achieve overall collective excellence.

To function as a bridge between various government Ministries and MSME clusters as a redressal forum and to intercede on their behalf with the policy makers to influence their decisions for the benefit of the MSME clusters and to represent them in submitting appeals, suggestions and requests as required to effect changes in the policies of State and Central Governments.

CRDI contributes towards development of equitable industrial growth by optimising the operational efficiency of various industrial associations and representatives who act as catalysts among the MSME clusters.

CRDI functions as a mediating body between the MSME Ministry and sector representatives towards highlighting the schemes, benefits and opportunities developed by the Government of India and also to submit the legitimate aspirations of the MSME units to the MSME Ministry.

CRDI undertakes the task of conveying to the MSME clusters various strategic opportunities arising out of the general industrial policies of the Government of India in sectors such as defence, heavy engineering, infrastructure development, transportation and advancements in healthcare, education & technology.

Enabling Agencies- EA

Organisations such as sector representatives, technical specialists, financial experts and strategic consultants who are engaged in providing facilitation, representation and advisory services for industries and manufacturing establishments.

MSME Clusters-MC

A Cluster of Industries operating in one geographical location with similar market opportunities is defined as an MSME Cluster for the purpose of this classification.

Manufacturing Associations-MA

A Collective of Industries operating in a region with members from either one or more industrial sectors represented as a registered organisation with a governing body and charter of operations.

Premium Membership -PM

A special class of services have been instituted by the Board of CRDI in order to enable a wide spectrum of organisations to avail of the service capabilities offered by the CRDI network.
